Lancaster Opera HouseDinner at the Asa Ransom House and Theater at the Lancaster Opera House, a winning combination. The Lancaster Opera House Theater is a reminder of an early American tradition, unusual to combine a music hall with a town’s main governmental building. Designed by George J. Metzger in 1897, renovated in 1981, the Lancaster Opera House is one of only a few such Town Halls still open.

The 2014 – 2015 season at the Lancaster Opera House Theater starts with * Fiddler on the Roof September 12 – 28 (Friday, Saturday and Sundays). Following are plays, musicals, family, and concerts:

*California Suite – February 27 – 28, March 1 – 8 (Fri, Sat, Sun).
The Boys Next Door – March 20 – 29 (Thr, Fri, Sat, Sun).
*Singin in the Rain – April 10 – 26 (Fri, Sat, Sun).
Witness for the Prosecution – May 8 – 17 (Thr, Fri, Sat, Sun)
*Legally Blonde – June 5 – 21 (Fri, Sat, Sun)

To receive good seating and avoid sell outs, we suggest reserving a few weeks ahead of your selected date.

Thursday, Friday, Sunday nights are $49 per person and include a four course dinner and Theater ticket. Saturdays include a five-course dinner, $59 per person. *Musicals are an additional $5 for increased ticket price. Tax and Gratuity not included.

The Asa Ransom House Dinner Theater menu includes Soup of the Day, Salad, Homemade Muffins & Rolls, with a Choice of Entrees. Entrees including Raspberry Chicken, Stuffed Sole, Roast Turkey, Jefferson Beef, Boneless Breast of Duck, Classic German Sauerbraten Roast, Prime Rib.
